Fiscal year

The term 'Fiscal year' as it applies to the area of energy can be defined as ' The U.S. Government's fiscal year runs from October 1 through September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; e.g., fiscal year 2002 begins on October 1, 2001 and ends on September 30, 2002'.
